Jill has been with the Star/Journal since 1993, serving as editor since 2004. She is the recipient of the Black Press Jerry Mac Award for outstanding community journalism, and is a Ma Murray Newspaper Awards winner in photography. She is the recipient of the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Medal and the British Columbia Community Achievement Award. Currently she is the president of the North Thompson Fall Fair and Rodeo Association and serves on the board of directors for the Lower North Thompson Tourism Association. Jill is also the Literacy Outreach Coordinator for our area.
Lisa has won a number of awards for her ad design and layout, which shows in the quality of the product that she produces for our advertisers. Lisa creates numerous advertisements each week, enters classified display ads, deals with circulation, billing, and always has a smile for our customers.
