North Thompson Valley carpet bowlers came home victorious once again from the Senior’s Games in B.C.  This year the event was held last month in North Vancouver.   We sent three teams and finished in the medals in each event. Our teams wished to send a special thanks to Lynn Innes who stepped up to the plate when there was no  one at the coast willing to organize the carpet bowling event.  It went smoothly – at least from the players’ perspective – but long hours in a short period of time for Innes.

Winners were:

In the 2’s Ernie Yungen and Hector Denton brought home the bronze.

In the 3’s Jack Livingstone’s team of 3’s, consisting of Linda Verhoeven (r) and Sharon March, earned silver medals.

In the 4’s Louis Zijderveld’s team of 4’s, consisting of Louis, Nina Clearwaters, Donna Smith and Anke Zijderveld, earned silver medals.
