Chu Chua Men’s Fastball hosted a very successful golf tournament at Chinook Cove Golf on Saturday, June 18. The tournament had 11 teams with 42 golfers showing up to play 18 holes of golf.
The event was a Texas Scramble best ball format with each team required to have one female player.
Teams came from Williams Lake, Canim Lake, Chase, Merritt, Simpcw, Splatsin, Cache Creek and Kamloops.
The winning team was from Cache Creek, consisting of Shayne Billy, Lyndon Minnabarriet, Gabe Battel and Christine Milward.
Everyone had a great time and the weather held out.
Chinook Cove Golf were great hosts with a dinner after the tournament, and then door prizes and kps were also handed out as part of the awards ceremony.
Thank you to all the supporters who provided donations, ensuring that each player received a gift.
The event was a great success and supported fastball in Chu Chua. We’re looking forward to doing it again next year.
