Winners in the Barriere Curling Club's Jam Cam included the J. Peterson Rink - 1st in A Division.

The Barriere Curling Club was full of excited young curler’s on April 1 and 2, as 84 local children took part in the Annual Curling Jam Cam.  All enjoyed a spaghetti supper on Friday, and a hot-dog lunch on Saturday.

After some very competitive curling, the winners were:

1st A Division - J. Peterson Rink

1st B Division - T. Schilling Rink

1st C Division - A. Kibble Rink

1st D Division - T. Dunstan Rink

The most sportsmanlike team was awarded to B. Mucha Rink.

The Curling Club extended a sincere thank you to their corporate sponsors as well as all the other generous supporters and parents for making this event a success. They also thanked the youth for being such enthusiastic participants.

This was the final event for the Clubs curling season.  Members note it was a successful year with an after-school program and a developmental league being held along with their regular ladies, men’s and mixed leagues.

They are already inviting area residents to join them in October, the start of the next curling season.
