Barriere’s Curling Club is now into the fourth week of its 2011 season.

Our four divisions: Tuesday night Ladies, Wednesday afternoon Seniors, Thursday night Men’s, and Friday night’s Mixed Leagues, are all currently enjoying the competition for first place within their own divisions.

One of our junior members, Kelley Dionne, has now progressed to playing in the Men’s League.

New curlers are always welcome, and we encourage those interested to come out and see what curling is all about.

The Curling Club is planning a free night if you are interested in trying curling for the first time.  For details, call Rodger at 250-672-1054.

Due to the success of our first Bingo Night in November, the Club will be holding another Christmas Bingo on December 10 at the Fall Fair Hall.  The doors will open at 6 p.m. and the games will start at 7 p.m.

Come out for a fun evening, and help keep curling active in Barriere.
