Don’t forget this weekend is the North Thompson Fish and Game Society’s 6th Annual Father’s Day Fishing Derby on Sunday, June 21.

Father’s Day is a free fishing day in B.C., with Derby rules saying, “Any lake – legal sports fish.”

Organizers say their are “...prizes galore, with a special grand prize for hidden weight”.  Final weigh-in takes place at 4 p.m. at the Barriere Bandshell in Fadear Park on Barriere Town Road across from the IDA Mall.

Registration closes at 10 a.m., June 21.
