Fish and Game shoot and fishing days coming up

The guest speaker at the North Thompson Fish and Game Club meeting of April 18, was Constable Evan Caldwalder, of the Barriere RCMP.  Constable Caldwalder spoke about transporting firearms.

It was also noted that the Core and PAL Programs were to be in Barriere over the Easter Long Weekend.

President Mel Schmidt reported on the BC Wildlife federation’s Annual Convention that he attended.

It was also reported that the April 17, Clay Pigeon Shoot was well attended; everyone had fun and the weather was great.

Several events are planned over the next few months.

The NTF&G Club Annual BBQ and Shoot is scheduled for May 15, at the Agate Bay Community Hall. Tickets available for $20 per person.

The NTF&G Club Father’s Day Fishing Derby is scheduled for, of course, Father’s Day, June 19.  Sign In will be the same as last year at Angler’s Gift & Tackle, on the corner of Highway 5 and Barriere Town Road.
