The 5th Annual Free Kids Fishing Day at Johnson Lake Resort will be held in a choice of two sessions if enough children register. Sessions will be held on Saturday, June 25, and Sunday, June 26, from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
This fun-filled day is for children ages 5 – 15 years and teaches them how to fish the right way. There will be prizes and tackle give-aways.
Kids will learn; fish identification and habitat, familiarization with fishing rods and tackle, learn to tie knots , casting and retrieving, proper fish handling, and fishing on beautiful Little Johnson Lake.
There will be a tour to view spawning rainbow trout, crafts and activities, and a barbecue lunch included. All fishing gear is supplied.
