The second last Ladies Night of the year was chilling and at times wet. A total of 36 ladies didn’t care what the weather was like. They just wanted to golf…and laugh and laugh and laugh. We have a wonderful time together and it will be sad to see the season end. Just one week left to go.
Flight 1 low gross winner this week was Marla Muldoon (HUB International) with a score of 42 and the low net winner was Brenda Oakland with a net of 33.5. Flight 2 low gross winner was Jeannie Webber (Stamer Logging) with a score of 53 and the low net winner was Leslie Stirling with a net of 37.5. Flight 3 low gross winner was Cory Walker (MJB Lawyers) with a score of 51 and the low net winner was Betty Baillie with a net of 36.5. The low gross winner for Flight 4 was Jen Amos with a score of 58. Brenda Oakland cleared out the deuce pot and Marla Muldoon did likewise with the birdie pot.
Long drives were the order of the day. Hole 1 and 2 had long drives in 2 and the winners were Cori Walker (Barriere Timber Mart), Rose Seymour (Crystlee’s Hair Design) and Brenda Oakland (Country Store Antiques). Long drives on Hole 5 were won by Carol Hindle (Rainer Custom Cutting),), Ilke Marais (Sam’s Pizza) and Evelyn Lucas (Station House Restaurant). KP prize winners on Hole 4 were Marian Wallace (Carl’s Market Garden), Ilke Marais (Campbell and Co.), and Marie Hakes (EBL Ventures). KP prize winners on Hole 6 were Marla Muldoon (Ron Wallace Trucking) and Leslie Stirling (Westwin Realty/Cindy Leibel). Long Putt winners were Susan Bondar (Knight’s Inn), Darlene Nickull (Pottery by Ramona), Ilke Marais (AG Foods, Barb Smith (Armour Mountain Office Supplies) and Irene Beeton (Barriere A & W). KP in 2 on Hole 7 went to Susan Bondar (Val Bella Studio). Making the most putts earned Catherine Reim a prize from Barriere Massage and using the least putts earned Brenda Oakland the prize from Gift ‘n Gab.
The last Ladies Night of 2016 was on Tuesday, Sept. 13. Sure hope we see you next year.
