The girls who make up the Zone 2 Netball Team from Barriere are headed off to the BC Winter Games in Vernon this weekend to compete in a three day tournament from Feb. 23-26. This year the team consists of a few brand new players, some old players, and some senior players. The senior girls, Alex, Dani, Kim Rudd, and Kimberley Pelayo have been playing for as long as seven years. Some of the junior girls, Jolene, Sadie, and Talyse have been playing for only a few years, and Brittany and Jessie are completely new to the game. They will be playing at W.L Seaton High School in Vernon if anyone would like to travel down and give your support.
