Group proud to carry on this tradition and support local community programs in Barriere and area

The emergency service providers in Barriere, which include the RCMP, Fire Department, BC Ambulance, First Responders, and Search & Rescue, are hosting the 2015 Annual Barriere 911 Emergency Services Golf Tournament at the Chinook Cove Golf Course on August 15, with a 1 p.m. shotgun start.

“We are proud to carry on this tradition and support local community programs in Barriere and area,” stated Barriere Fire Chief Al Kirkwood. Over the years, the group has raised thousands of dollars in support of area charities, non-profit organizations and scholarships.”

The 911 tournament is looking for sponsorships in the form of cash, merchandise, or services for prizes and a silent auction.

All sponsors will receive recognition in the welcome package for all teams, on each of the dinner tables and in the local newspaper.

For sponsorships of $100 you will receive a hole sponsorship sign.

For a $200 plus sponsorship you will have a sponsorship sign at the putting green located at the clubhouse where all players will be registering and participating in a putting competition, or they will be gathered around socializing while waiting for the evening dinner and prize presentations.

A $500 or more sponsorship allows you to put up signage at the putting green and clubhouse during dinner and prizes, as well as a two person paid entry into the tournament to form part of a team.
