and entered their Valley Championship in one of the top seats. Unfortunately, the boys ran into a hot Similkameen team and lost to Osoyoos in a must win game to go to provincials. None the less, it was a very positive year for the Senior Boys team. Congratulations to Nick McInnes, Tristan Brackman, Dusty Pawloff, Tristen Holt and Dylan Huitema-Harrie who are in this year’s graduating class. Thank you to Ashley Shannik and her coaching staff for the hard work and dedication with the team.
The Senior Girls also had a strong finish to their season. The girls finished second in league play and advanced to the Valley Championships where they placed second. The girls defeated Charles Bloom, and Heritage Christian, but came up short in the final against Similkameen. Unfortunately, St. Ann’s finished third and was able to challenge us for the final spot in Provincials on our home court. In a very hard fought battle, the Senior Girls came up short and lost their seat in Provincials. Congratulations to Jordan Bauer, Leanna Mitchell, Lee Dionne and Lyric McLeish who are in this year’s graduating class. Thank you to Steve Noble and Wayne Ross for their coaching efforts this season.
