The True Grit Rodeo is back in town!

The 2nd annual True Grit Rodeo is an approved British Columbia Rodeo Association (BCRA) event, the  first of their rodeo season, and it will be held at the North Thompson Agriplex on Saturday, April 11.

The event will once again bring a smile to the faces of rodeo buffs as it offers up a full slate of rodeo events; bareback, saddle bronc, bull riding, steer riding, steer wrestling, team roping, breakaway roping and barrel racing.

The event starts Saturday evening at 6 p.m. sharp, with concessions and a Lions Club beer garden on site.

Once the rodeo finishes cowboys and cowgirls will gather in the new banquet hall inside the North Thompson Agriplex for a cabaret dance hosted by the Legion.

Tickets are still available in Barriere at Country Feeds and the North Thompson Star/Journal, or at the Horse Barn in Kamloops.
