Austin Kelly

With a love for storytelling and photography, Austin began his career in Quesnel, B.C. as the sole journalist at that paper, reporting on everything from sports to politics to breaking news.

Born and raised in Surrey, B.C., Austin's move to Quesnel was a big change from big-city life. It was a rewarding year where he was able to learn much about a region of the province he had never been to while growing his storytelling skillset.

Austin is now ready and eager to explore a new region of B.C., Vancouver Island, while reporting for the Alberni Valley News.
